What Is Odie's Wax? // Non-Toxic Wood Finish

How to Apply Odie's Wax | Non-Toxic Wood Finish

Applying Odie's Wax on Quilted Maple | Food Safe Wood Finish

Highest Quality, High Concentrate, Super Hard Wax for Wood. Use this clear wax alone or over original Odie’s Oil,  Super Duper Oil, Odie’s Wood Butter or in any combination for extra sheen, protection and durability.

Use on lighter woods or any wood where only minimal color change with added depth is desired.

Odie’s Wax is 100% food safe and non-toxic. Contains only safe ingredients including a food grade, natural, non-toxic solvent. No worries! Odie’s Wax is safe for everybody: families, kids and pets!

Odie’s Wax is great for all the same applications as regular Odie's Oil: All Interior and Exterior wood, Boats, Brightwork, Doors, Floors, Decks, Gates, Fine Furniture, Patio Furniture, Bowls, Cutting Boards, Kitchen Implements, Toys, etc., etc. The list goes on and on!

Odie's Wax is great for wood turners and can be used as a friction polish!

Contains natural UV inhibitors-sunscreen for wood!

Great for new wood and suitable for use as a re-conditioner for old wood.

Has a pleasant fresh citrus aroma!

Like the original Odie’s Oil, Odie's Wax is a proprietary, born out of inspiration, hard work and a driving need to solve problems specific to the woodworker. The culmination of 30+ years of research, development and field testings in the most extreme environments produced a revolutionary product that out performs and out covers the competition.

Odie's Wax is easy to use! No sanding or stripping in between coats or for retouching! Wipe on, Wait a while, Buff off. Easy!

A LITTLE ODIE'S WAX GOES A LONG WAY! USE SPARINGLY. Odie's Wax offers impressive coverage - many, many times the area of other wood finishes. Coverage will vary depending on wood density and porosity.

Odie’s Wax is made by hand in small batches to insure quality. And of course, it is made in the USA.

9 oz. re-useable glass jars.

    Super durable and protective sealer

Posted by Olivia on 14th Nov 2022

Used Odie's wax to seal a wooden table and travertine stone countertops (both after two applications of the Super Duper Oil). Both wood and stone surfaces are completely protected and have a water proof barrier - water pools on the surface for easy clean up and no damage! Very thankful for my Odie's products!

    Quality

I was skeptical of Odies Wax as I thought Odies Oil does the same thing. I was absolutely wrong. Odies Oil does a fantastic job, but when using the wax post Odies oil, you get a much better sheen and protection. Couple the two together! You wont regret it.

    Hard wax

Man is the wax HARD! It is hard to spread but a little goes a long way! It leaves a great finish and feel on top of the Odies Oil. I haven’t tried it yet as a stand alone finish, but it seems like it’d be great.

    Odies oil and wax

Posted by Jay on 27th Jan 2021

I finished a large Walnut slab and used tung oil to finish and did not like the finish, it left the wood dull and the sap wood amber color. I called the people at Odies oil for some help and they spent a long time on the phone with me and told me what I did wrong. They instructed me on the proper way to sand my piece using several different grits of sandpaper. I then used Odie’s oil and wax and my slab came out beautiful thanks to them....
