Odysseus Cornwall’s BUFF OFF Wax is our high-performance, single-step wax for discerning owners who want a show-car finish without the complexity, cost, or maintenance rules of modern coatings. Apply an ultra-thin coat, buff it off, and you’ll get a deep, wet-looking shine with tight water beading and slick, contaminant-shedding behavior that holds up in real-world use—on automotive paint, marine gelcoat, and aviation surfaces alike.
Formulated to be non-toxic and easy to live with, Buff Off Wax delivers coating-level gloss and longevity—without the multi-step prep, layering, or “annual upkeep” mindset. It’s built for sun, water, and grime, making it equally at home on a weekend cruiser, a daily driver, or a hangar-kept aircraft. A little goes a long way, making each jar a smart buy for anyone who cares about results and value.
How to Use Buff Off Wax
- Start clean and dry: Wash the vehicle and fully dry it. Apply in the shade to a cool surface.
- Use a tiny amount: Lightly load your applicator and spread a thin coat—just a light haze. More product does not mean better results.
- Work one panel at a time: Apply evenly to one section (hood, door, fender), then move to the next.
- Let it set: Allow the wax to sit for about 20 minutes.
- Buff off: Using a clean, dry microfiber towel, buff until the surface is clear and glossy. Flip towels often.
- Admire the finish: You should see a deep, show-ready shine.
Tips for Best-in-Show Results
- Second-day buff (recommended): Come back the next day and do a light second buff with a clean microfiber for extra clarity and “pop.”
- Less is more: If you see haze or smearing, you used too much—buff again with a clean towel (or lightly mist the towel with water and re-buff).
- Keep towels clean: Use multiple towels and flip often. A loaded towel can streak.
- Avoid heat and sun: Hot panels can make removal harder and reduce your finish quality.
- Even coverage beats heavy coverage: A thin, uniform haze is the goal—don’t chase thickness.
