With Odie's Oil system of all-natural finishing, there's no single method to achieve great results!
If you're new to Odie’s finishes, we suggest beginning with Odie's Universal Oil and/or Mr. Cornwall’s Super Duper Everlasting Oil. Applying one or two coats of Super Duper Oil followed by a coat of Universal Oil will yield excellent results.
Alternatively, you can opt for multiple coats of either product. For Odie's Universal Oil used alone, 1-2 coats are recommended, while for Super Duper Oil alone, 2-3 coats are ideal. Remember to wait 24 hours between coats and thoroughly buff the surface dry after each application.
There are no limitations with Odie’s finishes! The level of sheen is primarily determined by the surface preparation. Generally, a higher level of sanding results in a greater sheen. Additionally, using high-quality abrasives, appropriate tools, and effective techniques will significantly enhance the final finish.

Mr. Cornwall's Super Duper Light Oil is a incredibly versatile and workable finish that blends effortlessly with Mr. Cornwall's Creative Colours Pigments.

    Super Duper and Universal Kit

    I fell in love with Odies a couple years ago when I decide I wanted to learn how to refinish furniture. I still do but have built myself a shop and started selling my projects as well. I needed to restock myself with these because I’ve found that nothing gives me a better looking finish or is so resilient to moisture. The Super Duper Oil is great for when I’m making custom colors and giving endgrain cutting boards their first treatments. I also use to buff on top of the butter or wax for some added sheen. The fact that I need no gloves and respirators is another huge reason I’ll never use any other finish. I’m an Odies customer for life

    Exterior use

    Used regular Odie’s on exterior wood doors which gave a beautiful finish to the mahogany, as well as the knotty pine ceiling under my porch. Love the super duper to refresh the finish after two years. Looks as good as the day I first put it on. NO graying from our harsh humid climate!

    You can't go wrong with the Super Duper Oil and the standard Odie's. I've use the combination of starting with Super Duper on redwood, then finishing off with Odies. A great combination.
