Cleans rust on steel
A white Scotts Brite pad and Odies Safer Solvent, easily cleaned the rust off the hand saws that were handed down to me. This stuff works great to restore antiques, even cleaned up cast iron handles as well. Great product.

I make my own finishes. I use this solvent (d-limenol) and (xylene). This smells amazing and does a great job.

MCM dresser refinishing
This solvent worked tremendously after stripping a painted MCM dresser. Love the fact that it is safer to use than other chemicals and end result is fabulous for refinishing!! I am confident in applying a new finish as an amateur that I have clean and prepared surface!!

Odie's safer Solvent
Product works great! I used it to take oil off of an area I needed to resin and it worked perfectly! I also love the orange scent. I used it to clean some industrial pipe legs for a table as well!

Odies safer solvent
I use this product to clean wood and epoxy surfaces between sanding grits and a final cleaning before applying odies oil. I also mix with odies oil to create a super penetrating oil. This product works great and smells fabulous!

Odie's Solvent
We liked this product a lot. We did NOT follow the instructions for applying Odie's Oil the first time, and we used a LOT of product and left it on for three days. In other words we did everything they tell you NOT to do. After trying everything to remove the excess wax (picking with fingernails on a 10' counter is not recommended, we found the solvent did a great job. It softened the excess so we could remove it without gouging the countertop. There was way too much to sand off! It has a fairly pleasant smell which dissipates fairly quickly. Since the kitchen is adjacent to our living room, it was a relief to know it did not linger in the sofa or carpet. We would buy it again, but hopefully won't need to! Now we follow instructions. Great products. Five stars
