The dark depth and rich patina are such that results cannot be duplicated with a stain. Odie's Dark creates incredible contrast. Blacks pop! Use to not only darken any wood when applied, but to also naturally darken wood with age. Great for mahogany and ebony. Will actually get better with age, becoming more durable and beautiful.
Recommended for interior use. Doors, floors, fine furniture, bowls, toys, etc.
Great for all species of wood, exotic and domestic. Formulated to work on even the oiliest of woods.
Just like all the Odie's finish products, Odie's Dark is a food safe, non-toxic wood finish and stabilizer that is easy to use. Odie's Dark is solvent free.
Odie's Dark does not contain driers or toxic chemicals. Safe for everybody:families, kids, pets!
Odie's Dark contains natural UV inhibitors-sunscreen for your wood.
Just like all Odie's finish products, all of the Odie's Dark finishes are revolutionary products that out perform and out cover the competition.
Easy to use. A little goes a long way. Use sparingly! Truly economical, Odie's Dark averages 21 sq. ft./oz. on most domestic woods---a 9 oz jar of Odie's Dark will cover more square footage than 1 gallon of other leading brand finishes. Coverage will vary depending on wood density and porosity.
All Odie's Dark finishes are hand-made in small batches in the USA to insure quality.
Most surfaces can be used within 24 hours and can be exposed to liquids within 3-5 days.

A really fine option for furniture
I've been playing with Odie's products for about a year and a half now. I like the ease of use and am finding using these products to be a bit of a rabbit hole. I have been trying different woods with different levels of sanding and surface preparation. The videos on the website are correct....these products are so interesting in their effects especially when the surface is sanded up to fairly high grits. I'm really enjoying this experience.

Odie’s Dark
Really great to work with, awesome results. The demo video makes the application and buffing process look really easy…but it is not….Waaaay more than the 20 minutes per room that he says it takes.

Excellent product. I used it on my reclaimed mahogany boards that I joined together to make a coffee table. It looks great on the mahogany. It really enriches the color!
Great product.

Odie's Dark
I'm new to ODIE'S just started using it. I have not been dissatisfied with the results. at first, I did not know how Odie's would work or turn out. when I was done, I was very happy on how the wood looked in the end. everyone likes it too. can't wait to see how it turns out on the walnut table I'm doing.

Nice easy finish
I am used to spraying on water based polyurethane that gives a nice deep finish with a few layers. Odie's is quit different. Much easier to apply but leaves a much more matte appearance, at least when sanded to 220, and compared to poly at 220. A second coat was a must as just 1 coat was way to dull. I like the finish though and will continue to use and experiment with it, likely with a finer sanding finish next time.
